For Sale: 1955 Chevrolet Station Wagon in JACKSON, Alabama for sale in Jackson, AL

Vehicle Description This two door wagon is a rare car that decodes as a 150 handyman, and is one of several cars I bought as a group to get a B body mopar.
This 55 has really good front inner and outer fenders, and a pretty good hood.
I've seen the better reproductions at about $1,300 per side, but these are the real deal.
She has been sitting for decades ,but the last several years was spent outdoors.
As can be seen in the pics the front floor pans and probably passenger side rocker needs replacing, but the rear tub and rear wheel houses are pretty good.
I swept off the lower parts of the fenders and quarters with crushed glass just to see what was under there.
I found some lead filler from decades ago and some old bondo in places, but overall not too bad considering.
There is an original business logo on the doors and tail gate but too far gone for me to decipher.
The roof skin had rusted thin around the drip rails and a couple of years back a strong storm got under it and flipped it off the car busting the front glass.
The roof structure pieces seem to be mostly in tact including headliner bows etc.
From what I've seen most everything is reproduced for these but I haven't seen a roof skin for the wagons.
I think this skin could be brought back with many hours of body hammering and Mig/Tig welding.
I have thought about making an old school gasser, from the old car but I have plenty of pentastar projects going on already.
.
.
It really is too rare of a car for whacking up as a donor ,and deserves a loving tri five home.
The VIN tag is long gone like so many have from the little weld tacks GM used , but I retrieved the hidden number off the frame, (55-O 0144XX), the body was built in the Cleveland plant then assembled in Oakland.
Alabama doesn't require a title after thirty five years so a notary signed bill of sale will do.
Any further questions please contact me through CC.
Thanks, Frank.
